Dancing with Sophia

Hello everyone who might read this blog besides me. :) Sophia is going to be two years old in like 4 days. I can’t believe it. My little itty bitty baby is 2!!!! She is sweet, stubborn, playful, loud, loving, opinionated, and funny. She does the greatest “lips face”!

She has had kind of a rough year with her broken leg, new sister and a couple of run ins with a nasty stomach bug (without being to graphic) but she is really starting to shine! She is finally starting to really talk (with words) and she has that “NO” word down. She loves to eat fruit and pasta, just like Bella. She likes to dress up now with big sister Bella. She really likes to dance around the living room with Bella and Mommy. She loves to read books. I often find her sitting by herself just looking at her books.

She is a very special girl and I am so lucky to be her Mommy. Here is one of my Favorite pages from her ScrapBook.

Busy and Broken

Hello everyone. I know its been too long since I have posted. But, I have discovered Live writer (Thanks to my dear Friend, Shannon). So theoretically I should be able to post more now that it is easier. My goal is to make this a routine and hopefully next year I can do the P365 challenge. I know thats a big goal for procrastinators like myself. We’ll see. Now on to the stuff you came for. Those spoiled sisters we love and adore.

Isabella, well she gets smarter everyday and by default i get dumber. In her eyes anyways. I swear its like watching myself when I was little. I love her and she amazes me on a regular basis. She has spent the past to days with Grandma and now she says she is ready for a sleepover. I say okay, crying and dying inside that my baby will be 4 years old next month. Yeesh, how did that happen. I blinked! This is the princess twirling in her Easter Dress. The best part about getting dressed up. Don’t ya think? Later in the day we all walked down to the 7-11 to get slurpees. Bella took a drink, stopped walking, put her hand to her chest, and Sang out: “This drink makes me SING!!!” Too funny!

Sophia, Sophia Sophia…. She broke her leg on Friday night. The girls were running back and forth through the hallway, we heard a loud bang and Sophia start crying, Daddy picked her up and she would not put any weight on her right leg. Off to the ER and home with a cast and my little Phia scared and in pain. We went to the Ortho Doc on Monday and she got a Purple cast! Guess what she now knows the color and can say Purple. So at least it is helping to teach her and broaden her Vocab. It is a walking cast, and she is starting to get around pretty well. What a little fighter that one. Here are some pics that I need to scrap of her.

Elisia is 4 months old now and she just had the most adorable photo shoot done by my dear friend from High School. The photos came out amazing and I cant wait to share them with you. Well she heard me typing about her and now she is waking up so I am cutting this short. I will start with her update next time.

The Girls @ The District

Well, I was brave enough to take all 3 girls by myself to the district to run off some energy. I didn't think to hard about it because I probably would have totally chickened out. As it turned out, we got Bella a new tutu, played in the courtyard and had lunch at Panera, all without one tantrum or meltdown. It was great! I am not pressing my luck as we have not gone out since, but we have all had colds as well. So these new LO are from that day. I really like how they turned out and yes I just realized that there are no photos of the baby. She was sleeping the whole time and really how many sleeping newborn pics do you need to see. Thanks for sharing in our Memories.

Sleep

Well, Elisia is on some new medicine for her reflux and for the first time since she was born six weeks ago, we have gotten more than 4 hours of sleep. Not only that... it happened two times in a row. I know that there is this whole movement to GO Green and be more organic, but I gotta tell ya, this Momma is lovin some Western medicine. :) It is amazing how much better you feel after some good uninterrupted sleep. The baby even smiled at me this morning. I gotta catch one of those on camera. Yesterday was a good day. Bella had open house at dance class ( pics coming soon!), then everyone took a nap and I got to scrap some pages (YEAH!), and then we walked to the park and played with the girls.

I am on the Brownie Scraps CT and specifically on Bethany's (Scrappin Daisies) team. So that being said.... I love her new kit Butterfly Moments. This kit is full of great papers and some really fun embellies. Here are a few LOs I did with this kit.

American Girls

I am so glad that my girls are girlie! After 32 years, I am still in love with dolls, barbies, playing dress up and dancing in the living room..... My little girls love to play along when they are not throwing temper tantrums that is! This is a page I did for Bella with her American Girl doll. My mom got it for her for christmas this year and Bella named her LaLa.(I dont know!) The kit is Merry and Bright by Silly Beans Scraps. The template was provided by the girls at GetDigiWithIt.com for their Time for Template Challenge.
In other scrapping news... There is a speed scrap at Brownie Scraps tomorrow at Noon PST. I don't know about you, but I love speed scraps! Hope to see you there.

Seriously where has the time gone. Is it really almost the middle of January? OMG! I finally got around to scrapping again. Here is a page I did for Bella. After we put out the soymilk and cookies for Santa, she sat down under the tree and said "I'm just gonna wait here for him"!! Too Cute. The kit is Merry and Bright by Silly Beans Scraps. I love the "nontraditional" colors in this kit.

Hi-
I am not starting out very well in keeping up with this blog. I am setting an early new years resolution to post at least once a week. Since this blog is both my family and scrap blog lets just get caught up.

Isabella is very excited to meet her new baby sister. She has helped us get the crib ready and even picked out a special toy for Elisia Rose. I am so grateful and proud of the person she is. It is challenging at times because she is so smart and I forget she is only 3 1/2 yr old. She is starting to spell out small words and even write a few. It is amazing to see her grow up right in front of me. This is a scrap page I did of her concerning her new big girl bed.

Sophia is getting so big, finally! She loves to dance around the house with Bella. I think she is actually more coordinated than her big sis. LOL! I really don't think she has any clue how much life will change next week, I feel so guilty about that. We have tried to explain the whole "baby is in Mommy's belly" but she just giggles and says Belly. She thinks my belly button or lack there of at this point is very funny. She gets cuter everyday and although she doesn't talk much, don't let her fool you, she knows exactly what is going on. This page is of the girls at the Pumpkin Patch this year. I love coordinating outfits! Thank goodness for Gymbucks!

Elisia Rose, what can I say about her. I am so excited to meet her and hold her. I was feeling well up until the day after Thanksgiving and then it really hit the fan. I am uncomfortable, tired, and so swollen that I no longer recognize the lower half of my body. Not that I can actually see it but people tell me. I am trying to just live in the moment of being pregnant, as this will 99% be the last time. Thank goodness for Tylenol. I am scheduled for a c section on Monday December 8th at around noon. I am taking my laptop to the hospital but I will not have internet access, I am already having withdrawls. If everything goes well, we should be home on Wed or Thurs and I plan to post again next Friday. Here is the one and only page I have for Baby Lyse so far:

The Hummingbird

Hello everyone!
It was a very long weekend here, but a pretty good one. The girls had fun trick or treating at Town Square. Sophia was a little show stopper as Tink. She is still so little, yet can do all of the normal 15 month old stuff, so people are usually amazed at her walking and talking. IsaBella wanted to do Karaoke there, but they did not have any more open spots. She was not happy and that pretty much ended the night for us. All in all a very nice Halloween and the weather was beautiful. IsaBella says she wants all of us to dress up next year. UH OH!!!

Saturday was National Digital Scrapbooking Day and boy was it fun over at GDS. I won lots of prizes and coupons and nearly doubled my supplies with all of the shopping I did. SHHH!!! One of the contests was to be as creative as possible for a chance to be Queen of DSD. I took the opportunity to scrap a page about Sophia's birth. It is very hard to even look at all of the pics with all of her tubes and hoses. So with a little help from my digi friends I decided to create a page that told the story of how our Grandma named her our little hummingbird, because her breathing and heart rate were fast like the hummingbirds wings. I cry every time I read the journaling and I hope you all enjoy it. I am very proud of it. I have attempted to add the page to this post, hopefully I did it right the first time. If not I'll keep working on it.

I guess that is all for now. I will try to post again soon with pics from Halloween.

Today has been one of the most difficult days as a SAHM I have ever had. Truely, there were times I wanted to cry. Since it is almost over (fingers crossed) I think I can let this out. I guess that is what a blog is for right. To be able to vent your frustrations as well as your achievements. Anyways, I am off to the kitchen then the computer heaven I like to call Photoshop to lose myself for at least 2-3 hours. Thanks for listening.

Hello Blogging World. This is obviously my first post, so go easy on me. I have been wanting to do this for a while but didn't know even where to begin. Then my new digi buddy, Fonnetta pointed me in the right direction. So huge thanks and hugs to her for sharing.
This blog is for my girls, family, life and to share my LOVE (or addiction) for digital scrapbooking. Seriously, I don't know why everyone doesnt do this. Well I have to run now but I will be back later to catch everyone up on the girls and life here in our little household.
